PAU Kisan Club was born in the village of Bawewal in 1966. Today it is respected across the world as a model of farmer-scientist collaboration — every month, on the first Thursday, farmers and agricultural scientists gather under one roof at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana to share their problems, achievements and field experience.
